Company History

Founded in 1998, DeGraff Bloom Custom Builders, Inc., is the collaboration of two experienced craftsmen working together to build you the new home of your dreams.

Lee DeGraff and Mark Bloom have over fifty years combined experience in building construction including historic rehabilitation, light commercial, HVAC, roofing, framing, remodeling, general construction as well as new home construction. Underlying their work is a commitment to integrity and loyalty, as shown in testimonials by satisfied DeGraff Bloom homeowners.

DeGraff Bloom is a 100% Energy Star Builder, constructing nearly a hundred Energy Star rated (PDF) homes since 2001. The Energy Star Advanced Lighting Package (PDF) is an optional feature. Each DeGraff Bloom home features energy efficient, quality construction, attention to detail, with beautiful and unique finishing touches on each house. DeGraff Bloom specializes in modifying plans not only to avoid repetitious house designs, but also to meet homebuyers’ needs and wants.

To ensure buyer satisfaction, a written six year limited warranty through Residential Warranty Corporation is included with the purchase of each DeGraff Bloom home. In addition, one year after closing, Mark Bloom personally visits each home to set up a new home service visit. DeGraff Bloom employees and subcontractors are some of the best in the business, and add to the overall experience.

New home communities currently in progress include Lake Hill Manor in Burnt Hills, Old Mill Court on the outskirts of Saratoga Springs in Rock City Falls, Neilson Landing, and Washington Crossingin Saratoga, and Turning Point in Stillwater.
